How it works
A Stop lever holds the torch inverter off. Released, the loop produces 10 game ticks high and 10 low. Stopping forces the designated output low; releasing Stop starts oscillation again.
- With Stop off, the repeater loop oscillates with 10 game ticks high and 10 low.
- Turning Stop on forces the torch inverter off and the designated output low. Releasing Stop restarts the oscillator.
Timing
Measured at the output: a period of 20 game ticks (1.0 s), 10 ticks high and 10 low, repeating for the 600 ticks the test watches.
